Scrapbook All Night!!

Card Class 

4 U Friend

I recently had a card class and this is one of the cards we made.  I used the Animal Cookies Creative Basics paper pack, Cuttle bug dies and embossing folder, and My Cricut.  This card had 7 layers of paper more than I usually use but I really liked the way it ended up.  Really fun!!  

Circle Cards with Wishes

I must say this is my first card that doesn't have four corners, Wow I feel like I really stepped outside my comfort zone.  It was so easy with the new Wishes book from Close To My Heart.  This is an amazing book with a lot of cards that are circular.  It comes with a CD for your templates but I decided I would weld two circles on my Cricut and make my card base that way.  SUPER EASY!!  and it turned out perfect.  I also found the cutest coasters at the craft store and they work perfect for my pattern piece on this card.  I also used the Tickled Pink flower and stamped it two times and layered one on top of the other to give it a little lift.  I used Stazon to stamp of the coaster and ribbon.  That's it so simple, but I love the way it turned out.

One of a kind

I have to say that I really love the new May stamp of the month.  I wasn't sure at first if I would really use it, but it has really grown on me.  I thought it would be fun to just add a splash of color to the black ink.  I used the wedding flowers from Michaels Crafts and added a CTMH Connections club sparkles to the centers.  I hope you like this card.

Spring Cleaning

It's that time of year and I have got to get organized again.  I have decided that I need to part with all of my retired Close To My Heart stamps.  I have created a photo album on the right side of my blog, you can click on it and see the great stamps that I have to part with.  All prices are $5.00 and UNDER!!!  What a great Steal!!  Just post a comment or email me and let me know which sets you want.

I just can't get enough of Treetops!!

Can this set get any better?  Man I am really having fun with this set.  I love the paper piercing that you can do with this set.  It makes it so much fun and easy to change the look of the stamped images.  This card came together really quickly and I wasn't sure of the color combo at first but I think it is okay.  The colors are Sorbet, Garden Green and Smokey Plum (which is a color that I have not used in a long time).  The colors were not what I had planed on using but they were laying on top of each other in a stack and It caught my eye.  I have big plans for a scrapbook page with this set.  I hope that I can get to that soon.  

I will post it for sure when I get it done.

Treetops

Here is a peek at a new stamp set coming out in the new summer Close To My Heart catalog.  The Set is called Treetops.  It is such a cute set, it caught my eye the first time I looked at my new book so I knew I better get this one.  I still have to play with the other stamps in the set and hopefully post new tree's soon.

Wow! it's been a few days since I last posted.  Sorry I have been real busy with I don't know what!  This is a card that I recreated from a card that another CTMH consultant had made.  I just changed it up a bit to make it my own.  The snail is just too cute!  I have some things I have been working on I will get them posted soon.  Don't forget the Close To My Heart has a new idea book coming out in May, Let me know if you need your copy!!

Congrats

I am sorry that I haven't posted in a while.  I have been so busy with school projects and the school science fair that I have not had time to even create anything.  I did get some time today to make a layout, I will be posting that tomorrow.  It is awesome!!  For now you can enjoy this glittered up congratulations card.

Friends

Wow!  I really had plans to post more this week, the days have just gotten away from me.  This card turned out to be one of my favorites.  It is such a simple card but looking at it you wouldn't know it.  The girl is from the CTMH set Family Ties-Children, she is stamped in black and colored in with CTMH markers.  Aren't they awesome and easy to use.  I then added glitter to her shirt and skirt.  I used my Cricut to cut the circles and the scallop.  I had some flowers in my stash that were Heidi Swapp, I have had them for years and haven't used them.  I went to purchase more and can't find the right color.  I found fake flowers at the craft store work just as good.  Just take them apart and whala!!  I did add a concho in the right hand corner and had to add glitter to it as well.  This card is one that I will teach at my Washington City Community Center class so if you want in on that let me know.
